While entities may have multiple owners, only the Primary Contact will receive notifications regarding questionnaires. You can change the Primary Contact of an entity by following the steps below:
First, you need to have additional owner listed. Go to the entity’s dashboard page, and add an existing client as an owner or add a new owner.
After you have added a new owner, click Change Primary Contact icon.
Select the new Primary Contact. Click Select Spouse Info if you want the old primary contact to be saved as the spouse. Obviously, this is only relevant to Individual entities, and if you are switching the Primary Contact from spouse to spouse.
(Note this will also switch on ‘Spouse is Taxpayer’ attribute, so the name on Overview will stay the same).
